Not even sure why, really. Just. They're blah. But tonight was lovely. Had a good conversation with my dad (Vati for the sake of this lj) all about writing---his, mine. I'd give the highlights, but they don't make much sense out of context.

Suffice it to say, I'm feeling peculiarly motivated to write now. On something I haven't touched in about two years. My Epic Novel. Might as well peck at it a little while I'm revamping some of the history, philosophies, geography of its world, right? And maybe that'll lessen some of the pressure I'm feeling to churn right through my young adult novel. Ah. That'll be nice.

Speaking of writing...there's this lovely lj community, musemuggers, that offers weekly writing challenges. I'm a little too shy---not to mention too little a joiner---to sign up, but I stumbled upon one of the challenges that kinda hooked me. Requirements: Can't use any words with the letter "y," sentences must be at least 15 words long, and the theme is rivers.
