B&N is having a music promotion right now---buy two classical music CDs and get the third free---and I am ridiculously excited. Music and movies are always so expensive that I hate buying them, even when I really, really want something. So whenever there's a promotion or special, it's really just an excuse to splurge a little.
And classical music is something I enjoy but know very little about, so my collection of it is very, very small. Part of the fun of buying it, though, is doing a little research and trying to find something I like. This time I'm getting Telemann: Flötenquartette (want to listen to a little?), Don Giovanni (which I adore), and Vivaldi: Violin Concertos (listen to a bit?). Sigh. I've such a weakness for Baroque composers. And the occasional Classical opera. And violin. And quartets. And....
