Alas, Peter Wingfield! Why must they always kill you off on television shows I watch? Don't they know how I much I adore you?

Still, it was nice to see him again...and as James Watson, great inspiration for Sherlock Holmes, no less. If I were of a Highlander-fanfic writing nature (instead of a gushy Methos-worshipper fond of penning Mary Sue fics where I feature as said Immortal's love interest), I might even find some crossover fodder in the James Watson role. Explaining away the whole death thing could be a bit tricky, but think of the possibilities! Especially considering that Jim Byrnes, aka Highlander's Joe Dawson, plays Magnus' centuries-old dad.

Clearly, I am going to be spending the next few weeks trolling Sanctuary fanfic sites....
