I don't know why the thought of drawing up a fantasy world should suddenly make me *so* *nervous*. After all, I sketched out the original landscape over 10 years ago without any angst whatsoever. But now...just the idea is making me a little light-headed.
It's not as though I can't just erase it if I don't like it. And putting pencil to page should actually help to shape and solidify some of the more nebulous aspects of the world floating around in my head at the moment. And yet....
Gasp! Pant! ::dabs forehead:: Huff-puff-huff!
Maybe I just need to let the research I did today settle a bit? Set aside next weekend to refresh my memory of all the story notes before drawing coastlines and mountain ranges and rivers and such? Or am I just procrastinating?
(Regardless: my heart rate and breathing are calmer just thinking about it.)
Still. I feel entirely pathetic. It's just a map! Just a map.
