Look at us, already at Thursday's collection of quizzes. I'm both glad to be inching toward the end of the Week of the Killer Quizzes and dreading what that means for my return to work. It's been so nice to have whole days to devote to house projects and cooking and correspondence and other tasks that have been languishing on my to-do list for months. Some of that genuinely needs all day, but I also appreciate being able to read or watch an episode of a TV show without feeling either harried or as if I'm desperately procrastinating in order to preserve my sanity.

Most of the house projects are complete, so Sev has returned today, complete with sun tea and almond biscuits to savor as we share the quizzes. (Do I wish he'd come with a masonry drill so I could officially cross one of my tasks off the list? Yes. Yes, I do.
