boldly bookish!
Apparently, it is Just Not Done these days for librarians to assume the role of arbiter of great literature. No. They are merely the gatekeepers of information...and occasionally knowledge...and should never presume to assign true worth to their book acquisitions.

Except, of course, for children's librarians, who routinely---boldly!---determine what is truly quality in the children's book world and what is dross. And, lo, how the other librarians siiigh in envy. Or so I'm told.

...All I can say is thank heavens I'm going to be a children's librarian. I'm not a lit snob, but bad writing is bad writing.
