a thousand miles away
I've 30 pages of my textbook to read, a closing shift at work tonight, and at some point this week, I have to watch Guns, Germs, and Steel---the fifth of fifteen young adult titles I must read, view, or listen to in the 5 weeks of my class. Sigh. I want a six-month sabbatical.

Sev, if you would.... ::crackle of parchment:: Thank you, old chap. Although a six-month sabbatical probably makes it near torturous to come back to work. ::slither of robes and huff from the darkness:: Thought so.

I'm a Weasley!

The HP Family Quiz

That's right. I'm a Weasley! (And in the HP world, if I didn't manage it by birth, I'm sure I'd manage it by marriage. Fred! George! Le sigh....)

You are:

You are The Lady of the Lake! As in many traditions in which a goddess bestows kingship, The Lady of the Lake, a mysterious Celtic goddess, gave King Arthur the sword Excalibur and thus established his power and his right to be king. Before he died, Arthur restored the sword to her, and it now remains with her beneath the waters of the deep. Water, the source of all life, has long been the domain of the goddess. Lakes represent both the source of creative power and the land of the dead, life-giving and death or renewal being the two main functions of the goddess. Water indicates both consciousness and revelation. She is a guide to the mysterious realms of emotion and renewal, a source of immense creativivty. She can give us the energy we need to rule our lives.

Which Goddess Are You?

What People Think of Your Mouth

People see you both as mysterious and exotic.
You definitely have cultivated your own unique interests and lifestyle.
Brainy and quick witted, you aren't one for superficial friendships.
But if someone can make you laugh or think, they'll likely be your friend for life.

What Does Your Mouth Say About You?

Hmm. So I wonder whether people are consciously aware of their impressions of mouths in general, or if it's all instinctive. ...But I do like people who make me laugh. :) Doesn't everyone?
