Apparently I've gotten used to posting every day. I've absolutely nothing to share, but I've felt antsy all day...as though I couldn't rest comfortably unless I wrote something. Now if only I could take that energy and turn it toward my creative writing instead of chatting here in my journal. I do wonder, though, whether this sort of thing explains why people become so addicted to Twitter. Do they feel empty or restless when they can't shout some snippet of their life at the world? As I have no intention of *ever* joining Twitter, I suppose I shall never know. Alas.
Since I'm here, though, I would like to share the joy I'm taking in being able to listen to Chicago's WDRV Deep Tracks online. There will always be things I miss about living in Chicago, but at least I haven't had to say farewell to the best classic rock station in the country. (I should probably tack "IMO" on the end of that statement, but I feel confident that an unbiased panel of judges would agree with me, so there's no point.)
