And here we are again. The very last day of our Week of the Killer Quizzes. I know Sev is eager to return to his potions, and I suppose I should return to the usual sort of lj entry, but as always, I'll miss the thrill of the quiz. But I think we have some lovely ones today to give us a proper sort of sendoff.
I can definitely imagine myself saying, "Let your conscience be your guide!" That's for sure. Though I'd love to be Pascal from Tangled or Carpet from Aladdin, too.
I can't really argue with that. Especially the "traditional, vibrant, tasteful" bit. That's definitely what I'm looking for in my art most of the time. And I do love vivid colors and floral motifs, especially those found in medieval tapestries. And that picture? Lovely....
Yes! The Millenium Falcon is *mine*! All miiiine!! I'd make a helluva privateer, don't you think? Of course, my second-highest result was the Enterprise E, so apparently I'd also make a very effective flagship captain. Excellent....
This is a time-consuming quiz---more a true personality test than a quiz---but the handful of friends who've taken it have found it immensely insightful. The above description is only a brief summary of the entire Persephone result, but some of the highlights that I found helpful and thought-provoking include:
And, huh. It occurs to me that I've kinda been hanging out with a Hades-type all week. Cool! ::clack of ice cubes:: Oh, just drink your Mai Tai, Sev....

Islamic art is developed from many sources: Roman, Early Christian, and Byzantine styles were taken over in early Islamic architecture; the architecture and decorative art of pre-Islamic Persia was of paramount significance; Central Asian styles were brought in with various nomadic incursions; and Chinese influences. Islamic art uses many geometric floral or vegetable designs in a repetitive pattern known as arabesque. It is used to symbolize the transcendent, indivisible and infinite nature of Allah. People who like Islamic art tend to be more traditional people who appreciate keeping patterns that they learned and experienced from their past. That is not to say that they are not innovative personalities; they just do not like to let go of their roots. They like to put new ideas into details and make certain that they will work before sharing them with others. Failure is not something they like to think about because they are more interested in being successful and appreciated for their intelligence. These people can also be or like elaborate things in their life as long as they are tasteful. They tend to prefer geometric patterns and vibrant colors. |

She's Faster Than She Looks!75% Millenium Falcon!![]() |
You've got a small ship, a fast ship, a stealthy ship - okay, let's face it, a privateer. But beneath the sneaking and the smuggling, important missions for the welfare of the people of your realms are your specialty, and when the chips are down, you and your ship will fight for freedom, family, and friends. |

PersephonePersephone is said to have a younger counterpart to herself--Kore--another name for the young Persephone. Psychologically, this may be a representation of two or three levels of this archetype: Kore, the Maiden, Persephone (or Demeter), the mature Woman, and Hecate, the Wise Crone. Persephone type woman is more attracted to the spiritual nature rather than the physicality of her partner. She may unconsciously attract destructive relationships or potentially controlling partners. As an unconscious protective measure, she may choose a safe alternative in a younger, non-threatening partner whom she can mother. |

This is a time-consuming quiz---more a true personality test than a quiz---but the handful of friends who've taken it have found it immensely insightful. The above description is only a brief summary of the entire Persephone result, but some of the highlights that I found helpful and thought-provoking include:
- Musing and intuitive nature rather than intellectual mind - difficulty ‘explaining’ her reasoning as it is an intuitive perception
- Strong connection to spirit - deep ambivalence toward outer world & her sense of being misunderstood & alienated from conventional society
- Attracted to metaphysics, healing, intuitive, service-oriented work
- Persephone woman is required to acknowledge and visit her own inner underworld--her Dark side--that is, a need and desire for personal power, boundaries, honesty with herself and others
And, huh. It occurs to me that I've kinda been hanging out with a Hades-type all week. Cool! ::clack of ice cubes:: Oh, just drink your Mai Tai, Sev....
