AC is out. Again. Sigh. So much though I'd love to linger and enjoy this last day of the Week of the Killer Quizzes, I need to turn my computer off before it overheats. Sev and I have managed to clean up a good bit of my parchment mess, though, and if you'd like to join us in a celebratory Mai Tai, we're happy to attempt a long-distance toast. ::clink of glasses::
Yes! ::dances around the room:: I would totally be rhythm guitar---not as background as bass but still not the center of attention; more support than melody; no drums craziness. Perfect! Also, the lass who marries a pooka in Emma Bull’s War for the Oaks plays rhythm guitar: I am so marrying a pooka!
Hahaha...excellent! I don't think anyone would have a problem with the lots-of-sex bit, but I have to admit I'm more excited by the rest of it. Eight children (at my age, anyway) means I'm adopting, which I've thought a lot about---especially middle- and high-school aged kids who have trouble finding a home---and you know who has a lot of Twitter followers? Tom Hiddleston. Yes. So I shall publish my Evanie Darling books, sell the film rights, move across the country to consult on the script, meet Tom Hiddleston at some random event (a Joss Whedon Shakespeare reading, perhaps? not sure how I'd get invited to one of those, but it'd be awesome!), fall in love, marry, and live happily ever after with lots of kids and lots of sex! ...Buzzfeed, I'm counting on you: if this doesn't happen, I'm going to be so disappointed.
One of my favorite things to ask people is which Firefly character or combination of characters they are, and my answer is always Zoë and Book. Book for the spiritual guidance and wisdom, which is a tremendously important part of who I am, and Zoë because I'm a protector, a shieldmaiden, and an excellent second-in-command. I'm very pleased to see that the quiz agrees with me, even given all the other Joss Whedon heroines to choose from. And the description? Not sure how driven I am in my current circumstances, but the rest definitely sounds like me.
That sounds like me. I especially love the bit about difficult timing: maybe the reason I haven't found my fellow is that he's been too busy sowing those wild oats and, as John Mayer puts it, "learning what to contrast [me] against." Or, you know, he's just Tom Hiddleston...or a pooka...or both...and therefore extremely difficult to encounter.

Based on the results of this test, it is highly likely that: You prefer your romance and love to be traditional rather than daring or out-of-the-ordinary; you would rather be pursued than do the pursuing; and, when it comes to physical love, your satisfaction comes more from providing a wonderful time to your partner than simply seeking your own. This places you in the Lover Style of: The Devoted Lover. The Devoted Lover is a wonderful Lover Style, and is perhaps the best Lover Style when it comes to developing a long-term, caring, and rewarding relationship. The Devoted Lover is a treasure to find, though it is sometimes difficult to time establishing a relationship with one just right; usually, this is the last romantic relationship you'll need to find, so sow any wild oats first. In terms of physical love, the Devoted Lover can be shy at first but gradually warms and eventually can be a thrilling partner who knows every need of his/her partner. Given a strong and loving relationship, and the right lover, the Devoted Lover can be a delight in bed. Best Compatibility can probably be found with: the Suave Lover (most of all) or the Classic Lover, or the Carnal Lover. |
