in living the days given to us
I've been remarkably productive for a Monday, which means that now all I want to do is find a hammock to flop in and a Mai Tai to drink. Alas, there are no hammock-suitable trees nearby, and though I've mostly made the transition to summertime foodstuffs, I haven't stocked my freezer with ice trays yet. I shall have to make do—fitting for a Monday.

Sev and I are still taking it easy, though, enjoying the blustery heat before it becomes unbearable in the next few weeks, so feel free to pick through today's quizzes on your own. The scrolls are tucked under the flowerpot in the corner, but you can probably hear them fluttering.

knowing their order

you remember the little things, huh? sometimes love comes in just the right amount of sugar in their coffee, or knowing exactly how they customize their food at fast food restaurants, or being able to order for them at restaurants while they're in the bathroom. you're a friend to count on because you pay attention to the details, even if they don't seem to matter much to anyone else. it's a nice surprise to come back to the table and find out that your ideal order is already waiting for you without you having to say anything in the first place. even if they don't say so directly, know your friends appreciate that you're that type of person. after all, it's the details that matter, and you've got them tucked safely away in your mind, ready to show how much you care.
What Is Your Unorthodox Love Language?

I can say with absolute certainty that I will not be able to remember anyone's order, and I'm not altogether confident that I have a memory for the little things people prefer, either. I see my loved ones as a collection of shared moments, but those moments consist of big picture elements like laughter, grief, hopes, and beliefs. I'm sure we discuss their tastes and preferences, but unless they're foundational to their health and well-being, I don't remember most of them. I do think, though, that the essence of this result is about paying attention and finding ways to help the ones you love feel that they belong. And that is one of my favorite ways to show love.

The Scrappy Hero

A farmer with a dirty face who gains half the kingdom and the princesses' hand in marriage. Most likely the youngest son of three, distinguished not by opportunity, but by either his wits, or his kindness towards all he encounters, from royals to honeybees, which causes him to garner favours and praise.
Which Fairytale Archetype Are You?

Yes! I love a scrappy hero! I'm not sure about my level of either wit or general kindness, but I love the idea of adventuring almost by accident, falling into a story I could never expect given my simple origins. I also love the way a hero has to face choices that speak to who she is and who she wants to become, that in a particularly good fairy tale, she gets to grow and learn over the course of her wanderings.

Florida Scrub Jay

You are bright and bold, seeing past the mundane and into the extraordinary. You have strong family values and believe that it takes a village to be fully fulfilled. You can be argumentative, but only if someone crosses a boundary with you, and you don’t appreciate neighbors getting into your business. You are intelligent and have an excellent memory. You always plan ahead especially when it comes to your next meal. You enjoy sand beneath your toes, a picturesque view, and couldn’t imagine living anywhere besides Florida.
What Florida Scrub Species Are You?

Once again, the corvid result is the most me result I could get. :D I don't live in Florida and I'm learning to find ways to turn neighbor nosiness to my benefit, but everything else here is spot on. If I'm ever in Florida again, I'll have to keep an eye out for my spiritual scrub species mirror.
