Has everyone seen the new profile layout? Does anyone like it? To me, it feels like a time warp to the very beginning of the internet, when everything was solidly locked into HTML boxes, with little horizontal lines zigging hither and yon. Even worse, it has shades of fanfiction.net profiles, where everything has to be read---right to left, up to down---rather than scanned and quickly interpreted. And I don't know exactly what they changed, but suddenly all the links, to profiles and interests and entries, are really difficult for me to read. There's not enough contrast or something.

Any thoughts? I've complained at lj_design, in case anyone wants to join me. Although LJ has a terrible history of listening to their users, I'm hoping that if enough of us present logical, soundly reasoned protests, they might just listen and let us return to the old layout. Perhaps I can threaten to sue them for eye strain?
