::blinking:: That was a *really* good movie. And now my head won't turn off. Has anyone else seen Donnie Darko? Yeesh. My mind keeps folding in on itself like an Escher engraving. Too much to take in at once. But so good.

...and if anyone is now thinking of seeing it, may I recommend that you *not* research it thoroughly? It'll ruin the experience.

Ehhu that freaking bunny x-ray face thing gives the creeps. I had a dream a couple weeks back after seeing the DVD ad, and I dreamt that Steve Buschemi was chasinf me, then his head turned into the bunny thing. Not good. Not funny. Creepy. But a good movie.

Yes. Bunny is very, very, very creepy. There were definitely moments that I worried I'd be having nightmares. But I was watching it with my sister, and she seemed to find some of the bunny moments quite absurd. So with her laughing every once in a while, it kinda wasn't so scary.

Even so. Damn creepy bunny.

That movie definitely is a brain twister. I tried to wrap my mind around it but I don't think I quite made it. I always meant to watch it again or at least try and find out if there were any filmmaker comments out there but never got around to it.

And the bunny is very creepy.

Actually, according to Hermione (i.e., the second sister...the first sister hasn't chosen an lj alterego yet), this site (http://www.donniedarko.com) has some really nifty information...and explanations for some stuff. Not sure, though, if I really want to check it out. I'm kinda fond of my own theory/understanding of the movie.
