I have finally received my new driver's license in the mail. And, insanedeity and mneme_metis, you will be delighted to know that my blue hair has been preserved for posterity in the ID photo. So when I go with short burgandy hair in my 40s, my children (should they exist) shall know the bit of hair-oddness they are witnessing is nothing new. ;)

I also recently caught a glimpse of one of the new promotional banners for the sixth Harry Potter book. It's absurd of me, I know---especially considering I haven't even read the fifth book...and won't until I've seen the fourth movie---but I'm in alt to see Ginny on there. Ahahahahaha! Yes. I know. 'Tis time and past I admitted that reading Harry/Ginny fanfic turns my brain to mush.

And while I'm crowing about that, does anyone mind if I crow about the Serenity trailer that just came out? I'm so thrilled! After (stupid, stupid) FOX canceled the amazing Firefly, I was so glad to hear Joss Whedon and Co. were pursuing a movie version. 'Tis not as good as a weeks and weeks and weeks of new episodes, but I shan't quibble. :D

On a rather more serious note---eek!---I stumbled upon this today and just...well, I guess I felt like sharing it. So. I am.
