Just finished watching Star Wars. As in, the Original. Seeing Revenge of the Sith last week, for all the bits that irritated me, has at least renewed my love of the SW universe. Not that it needed renewing, exactly. More reminding, I think. Despite George Lucas' baffling lapse in writing skill (he did just *fine* in the original trilogy...what the hell *happened*?), he's managed to keep his story more or less straight.
It was so much fun watching the Original now that I know the whole of the background. The characters gain such depth when I see bits of their parents/histories/zeitgeist trailing in their shadows. Makes me want to pick up the Zahn trilogy again. Or maybe even the New Jedi Order that I'm half-terrified to read. (Gasp! Don't *kill* my characters, curse you!!) Or perhaps I'll stick to fanfic. ;)
But this *is* Week of the Killer Quizzes, so I suppose I should get on with that, hmm? Just a moment while Sev hunts up the results. ::grumbling from shadows:: A couple of them are kind of long and Sev's a bit irked at the waste of parchment. ::rustling of robes:: Ah.

Ryu You scored 12 in Malice and 28 in Chaos!
Japanese dragons, or "Ryu," are very different from their Western counterparts; where the Western dragon is typically reptilian, with a heart as cold as its blood, the dragons of the Orient actually tend to err more on the side of beneficence. This should not, however, be construed as a license to treat them with disrespect; Oriental dragons are extremely powerful beings who do not tolerate impudence. Ryu, like the dragons of the West, are known to have a fondness for shiny objects and treasure. Some Ryu are willing to part with their treasures if they deem a mortal worthy of inheriting it. Other dragons may also, like gods, grant wishes and supernatural powers to those who seek them. At the same time, one must be wary when dealing with dragons; some may be extremely temperamental, and others even harbor a hatred for mankind and its desecration of the earth. Most dragons are by no means evil but must still be treated with extreme caution.

12" Alder & Phoenix You scored 68% Elementality, 100% Magic Knowledge, and 81% Goodness!
Your wand is 12" and rather flexible. The alder is associated with weather magic, mental prowess, and resurrection. This wand will be especially useful in spells concerning those issues. The phoenix is symbolic of rebirth, loyalty, and courage in times of adversity. The phoenix feather in your wand will bring those elements to the party. This is a very powerful and potentially dangerous combination, but based upon your magical knowledge score, I am not worried about your ability to use it. Or maybe I should be....
