On mneme_metis's recommendation, I decided to check out Veronica Mars. Only since I'm anal, I wanted to watch it from the beginning. Heard the first ep was going to be on, set the VCR to record while I was out of town, sat down to watch...discovered I'd set the VCR to Chicago stations, not D/FW. Yup. I don't entirely agree with either the description of the number 4 or the Poplar (I'm not in the least decorative---fashion? huh? what?---I'm not nearly as tenacious or grounded as they make it sound, nor am I full of animosity or completely lacking in self-confidence), but I guess if you were to jumble them together, including the bits that cancel one another out---or mitigate one another---it's not that far off.

I think my favorite part, though, is the use of the peridot. I could use a little help making my dreams real, that's certain. And how nifty that I was born when the moon was waxing crescent. Encouraging, really, that it was growing out of new moon darkness. Romantic that I am, I'll take that as a sign. ;)
