to see, to hear, to touch....
Who knew reading a book set primarily in a virtual reality could convince me I was living in a computer game? Every time I put the book down, I have an odd reality-disconnect for several minutes, where the world and the people around me seem nothing more than clever constructs. Dangerous, really. Is there anything with more potential for disaster than a retail employee believing she has instant do-over capability?

It's a romance novel: Blow Me Down by Katie MacAlister. Not a superb example of the genre, but it did have that peculiar effect.... :)
