float upon the notion
Sev has finally managed to get his slides in order, so we're watching those. ::click, shutter, click:: Not that the walls down here are a great projector screen. And I think he must have removed all the slides featuring himself in war paint and a grass skirt. Too bad. ::click, shutter, click:: Anyway. I've the quizzes right here, meticulously prepared ahead of time so as not to interrupt the slideshow.

Even though you are holy,
you have a mysterious past.

That sounds about right. Figured I'd be either Book or Simon...and I'm liking the idea of myself with a mysterious past. Maybe I'm an undercover ninja?

Your Expression Number is 7

Very intelligent, you are usually thinking, introspecting, or analyzing.
You have a good mind, and you are especially good at finding out the truth.
Very little ever escapes your observation and deep understanding.

You tend to obsess over wisdom and hidden truths.
You are likely to become a authority on any subject you undertake.
Operating on a different wavelength, most people don't know you that well.

Very logical and rational, at times you tend to lack emotion.
So much so, that you often have a hard time coping with emotional situations.
You are not very adaptable - you may tend to be overly critical at times.

Well. 7 is my favorite number, and I definitely like to think and introspect, but I think I'm more emotional than logical. Not that that's stopped me from being critical and struggling to adapt. Those bits are absolutely correct.

HERMIT "the meditator, philosopher, sage, wise man"
You can not and will not compromise your values and have a desire to complete past things before begining the new (you value completion, perfection, and introspection highly). You are a natural way-shower, sage, and seeker. You have an appreciation of the body and the wisdom of the earth and its natural process. You have a deep love for beauty, harmony, and order.

Which Major Arcana of the Thoth Tarot Deck Are You?

I swear, there are so many tarot quizzes, I could do one each Week of the Killer Quizzes until I die. But I love that they give me different results each time. So far I've been the Fool, the Hierophant, the World, the Emperor, the High Priestess, and now the Hermit. I should have the whole deck by the time I die.

Why does it always seem like people think you can either be logical or emotional but not both? They're not mutually exclusive in my opinion, even if you act on one over the other sometimes.

I *wholly* agree! That's why, when I first discovered historical romances, I found I couldn't stand Georgette Heyer, whom almost everyone else I know seems to adore. Her characters are always entirely logical (the good characters) or entirely emotional (the silly, pathetic, annoying characters). I couldn't identify with either, since I'm really a meld of both logic and emotion.

At base, I think I'm more emotional, but I long ago---back when I was terrified there were monsters under my bed---taught myself the importance of balancing my emotion with logic. Now it's just part of my thought process, that consulting of both my heart and my head. Once again, I say *we* should write quizzes. Ours would be way more awesome. :)

Apparently, I am the devil. I am ok with that. :)

DEVIL/PAN
"the joker, worker, stabilizer"
You are gifted when it comes to protecting yourself from judgements cast upon you by others. In fact, you are not easily thrown by external reality. You have the capacity to work and play hard and to laugh at yourself. This is the card of humour and sexuality (it is the only card with genital symbols). "Devil" spelled backwards is "lived", and it is very fitting. You live with humour and have a stable foothold on life. Of course, you do love setting the occasional bit of mischief into play.

That *does* sound like you. I'm especially enjoying the image of you with panpipes, sneaking around playing tricks and snickering.
