Even though I still haven't managed to read those 30 pages in my textbook, I *have* watched Guns, Germs, and Steel. Quite interesting...and ironically enough, much of the source of Jared Diamond's inquiries can be found in his experiences on Papua New Guinea. So now we just have to wait to see what brilliant theories arise from Sev's sabbatical there. Eh, Sev? ::snort from the shadows::
And I learned something else: trust Daniel Jackson (of Stargate SG-1) over anyone. Yup. Dr. Jackson can pronounce "cuneiform" correctly when the National Geographic narrator-guy cannot. I love fictional characters.
My Personality
I'm so very...moderate. Not unsocial or too social. Not unstressed or overly stressed. Not traditional or radical. Not stupid or brilliant. Oy. I'm bloody boring. The more detailed analyses of each trait provide me with a little complexity and, er, interest, but I don't have a way of concisely posting them. Bother.
That's right. I'm a samurai...and I want my katana. Now. As for impulsive people? The foolishly impulsive ones do annoy the hell out of me. If they would just *think* a little.... But other times I envy---and need---impulsive people's energy and Why the Hell Not? attitude. So...hmm. ::smiling small-ly::
I have no idea if this is me, seeing as my experience with romantic love is about...zilch. But it's an ironic result for someone who devours romance novels as though they're candy hearts. Too funny.

| You are neither a subdued loner nor a jovial chatterbox. You enjoy time with others but also time alone. Stressful and frustrating situations can be upsetting to you, but you are generally able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You are reasonably reliable, organized, and self-controlled. |

![]() You are a Samurai. You are full of honour and value respect. You are not really the stereotypical hero, but you do fight for good. Just in your own way. For you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil person, if it is for justice and peace. You also don't belive in mourning all the time and think that once you've hit a bad stage in life you just have to get up again. It's pointless to concentrate on emotional pain and better to just get on with everything. You also are a down to earth type of person and think before you act. Impulsive people may annoy you somewhat. Main weapon: Sword Quote: "Always do the right thing. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest." -Mark Twain Facial expression: Small smile |

| Your Candy Heart Says "Get Real" |
![]() You're a bit of a cynic when it comes to love. You don't lose your head, and hardly anyone penetrates your heart. Your ideal Valentine's Day date: is all about the person you're seeing (with no mentions of v-day!) Your flirting style: honest and even slightly sarcastic What turns you off: romantic expectations and "greeting card" holidays Why you're hot: you don't just play hard to get - you are hard to get |
