the i-cave: bouguereau, books, etc.
All this talk about icons with Czarina has gotten me interested in making them again. And since I've finished my summer classes, I actually have time to indulge. (Yay!) Some of these have been languishing on my hard drive for a while now....

cheeseburger?
Why eat a cheeseburger when you have access to BBQ!?! Don't take the BBQ for granted. I learned the hard way... Here, they actually pronounce it B-B-Q. It's sacrilege!!! Viva los pulled pork!!! Perhaps I'm obsessed...
Love,
No BBQ Beatrice :(

Re: cheeseburger?
Y'know...I bet they have pulled pork in Cuba---or, as it will soon be known, FannyGoodluckLand! Yet another reason to get our benevolent dictatorship off the ground. But yes, you are entirely correct: the BBQ here is the best in the entire world. In fact, my father has spent the last seven years or so trying to recreate the North Carolina BBQ of his youth. The entire family encourages him in his experiments, as you can imagine. :P Soooo yummy.
