Someday...some sweet, beautiful day...I will be in a position to recommend universities to people. And on that day I will *relish* the opportunity to tell everyone who will listen that this school is a communist country in the guise of a learning institution. And that any who enroll in its dark, thorny toils should expect to lose their hope, their self-respect, yea, even their sanity.

You really need the "Anger breeds gunfire" model icon I had, but two suggestions.

1) Take your FOID card, go to shooting range, rent gun, shoot things till you feel relieved of anger.

2) transfer out. Pick another program if you have too much time to make it worth staying in NC.

3) Remember to put down said gun before returning to campus.

Also I give you my Holy Handgrenade of Antioch, that you may blow them to bits in His mercy.

Thank you, O Holder of the Holy Handgrenade! Y'know, FOID cards don't work down here. (Not that I got rid of mine: I look snazzy in it!) But I do have a friend with guns. I'm sure he'd let me take them to the range and blast the hell out of some bits of silhouetted paper. :) As for transfering out...I'm soooo close to being done. Which is what makes dealing with the evil school that much more infuriating.

But thoughts of the Holy Handgrenade are remarkably soothing....

FOID cards don't work in North Carolina...? It's the South? Do they just have an open carry policy? *twitches in incomprehension* If you are that close, than all I can say is Sedition Sedition Sedition! and also, on a side note, I am proud of us as alums. Read the release.

You should be proud. You alums freakin' *rock*! That's amazing. Congratulations! :D But as for the FOID cards, those are only good in Illinois. Each state has their own laws for firearms, and FOID cards are Illinois' way of dealing with the issue. I'm not sure what the laws are in SC, but if I want to shoot, I probably have to go through the whole rigamarole of applying for permission all over again.

Ironically, it's almost enough to make one want to go shoot something.... ;)
