a drop in the drink
Oy. I am clearly not designed for hardcore drinking. Not that I, lightweight that I am, ever do any drinking that can truly be described as "hardcore"...but good *night*! I went out on Monday night, drank rather more than I should have, and now I feel as though I'm viewing the entire week through the wrong end of a telescope. Isn't this week over yet? Surely it's lasted three years by now...? And when, exactly, am I going to stop feeling dizzy? Oy.

...But I had a lot of fun. Anytime you find yourself discussing The Shins, speaking in a British accent, and chorusing "I am Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod" as you sing the Highlander theme song definitely classifies as a good time.

Why can't I hang out with you people? That does indeed sound like fun!

We need to plan these things better, clearly. Or you need to start shifting your schedule so you close with all of us. That seems to be when the drinking happens...right after work. Yeesh.

Though, hearing you singing "When the saints go marching in" as you walked out the door the other night was laughter-making! We were singing that most of the rest of the night. Also, thank you sooooo much for doing such a good job cleaning up before you left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It certainly made our night easier.

No problem! And that *was* fun. :) I didn't stop singing full voice until I got to the end of the verse I knew, too. Fortunately, no one was around outside to hear me butcher the notes. We really, really need to set up a karaoke table between the cashwrap and CSD, I'm telling you. That night it was marching band, but on Sat. morning, a whole bunch of us were singing bad 80s music as we trotted about the store.
