I'm currently updating my livejournal, searching for Tin Man fanfic, and listening to VeggieTale's "The Hairbrush Song" all at the same time. I'd like to say it's 'cuz I'm an amazing multitasker, but I think it's more accurate to state that I've an increasingly short attention span. Especially when I'm online.

...What was I doing again?

Oh. Right. First, I'd like to announce that I just finished watching Scifi Channel's Tin Man. If you haven't had a chance to see it, may I say that I freaking loved it? And that you should watch it. Especially if scifi interpretations of classic children's literature intrigue you. Or if you like Zooey Deschanel. Or if, like myself, you're looking for another ridiculous romantic pairing to 'ship. (Is it any surprise, really, that I'm a DG/Cain shipper? I didn't think so.)

Second, I guess it might be of interest to know that I have a job: an official Librarian position...Children's Librarian, no less. Which I'm both excited and terrified about. I love working with kids, but the whole storytelling thing kinda freaks me out. I keep telling myself that, yes, I am enough of a dork to pull it off, but for once in my life, I'm doubting the extent of my dorkiness. Not that I'm really certain I want to be reassured on this front....

And last, it seems that Sword & Sorceress may be up for another issue. So if I can think of something to write about---eep!---I may very well have a chance at being published two years in a row. And then I'll probably have to start figuring out how to find other publishing opportunities. Or, you know, writing more.
