pants = pain
I am soooo sunburned. *So* sunburned. But I've discovered I love to jetski, so that kind of makes up for the disturbing lobster-red of my legs. (Why did I forget to sunscreen my legs? Of all places? Oy.)

And does anyone know anything about Enneagram points? I started discussing them with a coworker, and despite several online quizzes, a website, and a couple of books, I feel rather more than less confused on the subject. Just when I start to think one point or other suits me, I'll find some sticky aspect that doesn't fit at all. It's rather like the zodiac. Am I a leo? A libra? Cancer, pisces, aquarius?

At the moment, I'm leaning toward the belief that I'm a Four---The Individualist or the Tragic Romantic, depending on who you ask---but I'm afraid to look closer, since the Five, Six, and One also seem to suit me in some respects. Help? Is there an Enneagram savant in the room? Or can I convince someone to join me in the land of Enneagram confusion? I'll bring cookies....

Hmm, i just now got around to investigating this. And I am somewhat confused as well. This is what scored.
Type - Points
1 - 5
2 - 6
3 - 4
4 - 3
5 - 5
6 - 2
7 - 6
8 - 5
9 - 0 (This is the "peacemaker" type. I laughed.)

I'm a tie for being a "Helper" & "Enthusiast" Both of which have some strong similarities. I also have The Reformer (1), The Investigator (5), and The Challenger (8) breathing down their necks.
I am under the impression that the "wings" are governed by this set of runner up scores. I am a #2 Helper with a strong score in #1 Reformer this equals the "Servant" version of Helper and not the Hostess. Also, I am #3 & Enthusiast with a heavily #8 bent earning me the tag, The Realist.
Interpreting all this mess, I take it to mean I am some where along a 2, 7 axis moving towards a #8 Challenger, because I rank highly at 7, assuming that types are related/ influenced by each other in sequence. And further, the growth evolution of type 2 is type 8.

That my (considerably more) than $.02. Maybe it helped? (Quirks at the aps pro pos moment.)

::puts on thinking cap::
See what I mean? So confusing! Just looking at your scores, I'd say you're either a 2 or a 7 (2 with a 1 wing; 7 with an 8 wing). If you're a 2, you should also have fairly strong 8 and 4 scores, since when a 2 is unhealthy, it moves toward 8 and when it's healthy, it moves toward 4. But if you're a 7, you should also have strong 1 and 5 scores, since when a 7 is unhealthy, it becomes more like a 1, and when it's healthy, it becomes more like a 5.

So, looking at that, I'd guess you're a 7, rather than a 2. (Since your 7, 1, 5 scores are higher than your 2, 8, 4 scores.) But I have no idea if you feel the 7 description suits you better than the 2 description. And since the test itself is based on self-evaluation, it's not going to be highly accurate, anyway. After all, some people are able to say accurately and honestly how they act, while others don't have a clue.

I can't remember my scores exactly, but I think I was tied at 4, 1, and 2. And since 4 moves toward 1 when healthy and toward 2 when unhealthy, I figure I'm probably a 4. Plus the 4 description---especially with a 5 wing---seems fairly close to how I am.

But good grief! I think I'll stick to the Myers-Briggs test....
