Have you read through the Alice and Hatter illustrated stories that bri_chan and zippitydodah27 did at curiousinsane? (Let's hope all them there html linky things work right...)

Bri-chan works at Disneyland as an artist (caricaturist). She's good. Her personal journal is fun to read, too. Zippity also works at Disneyland and writes some really neat stuff.

So Alice/Hatter has been around for a while? I had no idea---probably because before I watched the miniseries, my visuals of Hatter and Alice were entirely Disney. Alice was eternally young in my mind, and the Hatter's voice tied him so completely to Mary Poppins' Uncle Albert that any relationship between the two would have to paternal, if anything.

Now, though, I might just have to take a look. I'm not sure I can handle the second one at the moment---I am so very fluff-happy after the end of Alice---but I'm absolutely going to give the first a try. Thanks, Lissa!

I don't know how much Alice/Hatter fanfic there is - probably a lot. And I don't remember how I found Bri-chan (maybe through deviantArt). And after seeing so many of her pictures - both the ones she's drawn and the ones she takes at Disneyland of the character actors - I no longer think of Alice as young. :)

And I really want to see that Alice miniseries. Some day...
