font love....
It took me awhile to find the time to transcribe it, but this is such a neat little quiz that I wanted to share it anyway. Sev even took it, but he's refusing to tell me what he got. Personally, I suspect he may have gotten the same result as me...such a closet Romantic, our Sev....

Your Type Is Marina Script

Marina Script is a 1936 version of a writing style that is centuries old. It is a typeface with delicately emotional swoops and serifs delivered with an aristocratic precision and restraint. If you believe in courtship and believe that courtship is best done by letters and believe that those letters should speak of love but never be so common as to say it, then Marina Script is your type.
What Type Are You?

That is so very me, although I'm a bit more straightforward in my modern self, I think. I like to believe I'd be similarly inclined if I lived in another time, but perhaps I really would've thought it common instead of brave, as I do now, to mention love.

I got Universal. I like the font, but I'm not as sure about the description.

I did look at the rest of the fonts (and listened to the descriptions because that was a neat accent!). I liked Archer Hairline and Pistilli Roman, too, but still wasn't sure about the descriptions. However, those three fonts do have descriptions that most closely match my traits.

I completely agree with your result! That font is just about perfect for you.

I can see your peace with all things modern, but I would think you'd find old, sloppy, and random things intriguing rather than irritating in the right sorts of circumstances. History has all that...as does the natural world. So...I dunno. But I did have another friend get the same font, and she doesn't quite fit the description either. And yet you both fit the style of the font rather well. Curious....

Exactly. Love the font. But I like old and random and weird and sloppy things rather cool and intriguing, usually. I mean, a random pile of sloppy dog poo, not so much. Unless it's on the ceiling and then it's interesting if only for the, "How??!" :)

I got Baskerville Italic, and while I like the the type, I don't know that I quite agree with the description. But you know how I love the online quiz. :)

I can see some of the Baskerville Italic for you...especially the bit about the firm measured stroke, the light measured stroke, the flowing serif, academic dignity, and being well-read. But it has a rigidity that doesn't quite suit you, perhaps 'cuz you balance between rational and emotional. Did you listen to Plastica? It has the same traits, only switching out emotional for your rational, and I think it might reflect that aspect of your personality rather well.
