beyond the dreams
I had some bizarre dreams last night. For one, I could wear the color yellow---a bright sunny shade that in real life, like any other yellow variant, would make me look sallow. And then I was at a spa with my mother when my friend's brother showed up and started talking about how he'd just broken up with his girlfriend and would I be interested in buying some red rock formations in Arizona? (Which, by the way, if anyone could manage to sell, it would be him.) And then I was being chased by bad guys into this gigantic wall of gelatin, which was apparently the last test in a long line of tests to determine if I could become a spy.

I would love to say this has something to do with the Week of the Killer Quizzes, but it doesn't. At all. Much to Sev's annoyance. Shall I get to the quizzes, Sev? ::rustling of parchment:: Your wish is my command, darlin'!

Horus

You're a good guy/gal. You are possessed of either a strong set of ethics, a good moral code, a sense of honour - or all three. Sometimes people think you're not cool, but you know that you are trustworthy and honest, and in the long run, will have the best friends.
What Egyptian God Are You Most Like?

I do have the best friends, that's certainly true. ;) And it's interesting that I got the same result as my Egyptian zodiac result from a few years ago. I like that this quiz seems to be focused more on personality than on the symbols, etc. associated with each god or goddess. Although that might be fun to try next year....

You Are an Antique Clock

You are very wise and a great listener. Your friends come to you for advice. You are very responsible, but that doesn't mean you're not fun. You're very smart and very complicated, and the opposite gender is attracted by your deepness. They try to figure you out. You're an original thinker. Most people who don't judge too quickly get addicted to you.
What Clock Are You?

That's right. I'm addicting. My alluring tick-tock, tick-tock holds everyone captive. Except, apparently, the opposite sex. Bother.

You are a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist!

ABC! Your Affect (feelings) influence your Behavior and
then the Consequences! It's all logic!

Let's think through this...and then alter our behavior. A very effective and popular therapy created by psychologists such as Beck. This therapy focuses on how our irrational thoughts affect our feelings which then influence our behavior. You will identify 'malcognitions' and try to challenge a client's sense of reality. There is a little touchy-feely, but it's discussed in a matter-of-fact way. Its all logical here, baby!

24% Client-centered, 20% Gestalt, 52% Cognitive-behavioral
and 29% Psychoanalytic! Brilliant!
The Therapist Test

Considering this is the type of therapy my father makes use of in his work, it makes sense that this is the type of psychology that's formed my impressions of the world. And it certainly works most of the time for me, but then my psychological problems are minor, to say the least. ;) I'm curious about the Gestalt analytic style, though: I'm not familiar with that one.

Gah. I got Horus, too. But I promise I'm still evil. Just, apparently, not that kind of evil.

It's a good thing I like antique clocks. :)

According to this quiz, I think that thinking can change behavior. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist it is. And just so that you know that I'm not simply copying your results so I can be exactly like you, my percentages were different: 24, 20, 63, 11.

Yay! You know, if this day weren't already over, we could totally have declared it twin day and attempted to dress the same. Or, you know, just had the same thing for lunch. :D And I think you can still be evil and be Horus at the same time. Just 'cuz you're evil doesn't mean you don't have a strong set of ethics. It just means your ethics are a little...skewed. Bwahahaha!

Okay, so we had the same result on all the quizzes today. But it seems like ludzu_alus also got the same answers, so I don't know if that means the quizzes aren't very good or we just are in sync.

That's kind of cool that Cognative-behavioral is what you dad uses. I wonder if this is why we can discuss things so easily sometimes? I'm totally curious about Gestalt analytic style too! I got a pretty low percentage in that, which is sort of made me think I'm missing something in the way I analyze people/myself.
