"Manic Monday" - The Bangles
My dad was working on his Ph.D. through most of my young childhood, so my sister and I went to the university's child care center while he was in classes and while my mom was at work. We loved going there, but it was some distance away from our house, so every morning was a mad rush to get ready, get out the door, and get each one of us to our child care, classes, or workplace. Since "Manic Monday" was playing on the radio at the time, it's not surprising that it became an anthem of sorts. And since I grew up listening to it, how could I help learning all the words? The fact that I love to sing it probably doesn't hurt either....
