between our quests, we sequin vests...
I just started reading this book---one of those cheesy collections of urban-fantasy/romance short stories designed to get readers hooked on new authors---and the premise of one of the short stories involves Knights of the Round Table...who are vampires. Every time they mention it, I crack up: really? the quest for the Holy Grail to be conducted by vampires?! But it occurred to me that if the story was about Robin Hood's Merry Men who were werewolves, I would be taking this *so* *seriously*.

Has anyone written that? Is there even a market in that? Or are the rabid urban-fantasy/romance fans only concerned with King Arthur and vampires? I almost want to write it, just to see what would happen.

Can you please write Robin Hood's Merry Men as werewolves? Pretty please?

I have a friend who writes a Chronicles of Riddick/Firefly crossover where River, Jayne, and Riddick are a threesome. And it's sexy and it makes sense in the universe she's created. So I'm sure that somewhere Robin Hood and his Merry Men are werewolves.

If only I could think of a place to start! Is Robin a werewolf or only his Merry Men? And are they werewolves in the same way the Knights of the Round Table are vampires? ("Crosses don't bother us, we don't drain people's blood, and we're not undead." Uh....) Imagine if the first book I publish were a Merry-Men-as-werewolves book. Heeheehee.

Also, if I squint at that pairing, I can totally see how that might fit together. Huh.
