plant a new beginning
I love Sundays. Especially Sundays that start with brunch, continue with discussions about which mythological creature each family member would be---so far, Rose Red's a unicorn, Dragon's a gold European-style dragon, Hermione's a hippogriff, Elessar's a griffin, and I'm a phoenix---and end with my dad's famous fried rice. Yum!

Day 08: An album you can listen to from beginning to end without skipping any tracks
I have a lot of these, but the one that comes immediately to mind is Sixpence None the Richer's self-titled album. This is the album containing "Kiss Me," but while I don't mind that song, it's not really representative of the band's sound. The other tracks are alternately meditative and impassioned, plaintive and triumphant, and always complex and richly textured. The latter half of the album is especially interesting, each song flowing organically into the next, building momentum to the defiant "Moving On" before subsiding once more into sweetness with "There She Goes."
