lost was the key
I just discovered a library-related spoof of the Old Spice commercials. I love it! I think that may become my go-to video for those moments when I just need a laugh.

Day 09: An artist more people should know about
I'm going to cheat a little bit on this question, because while there are a few artists/bands that I wish people respected or knew about more---Gary Jules, the BeeGees, America---what I really wish I could introduce people to is actually just a one-off album by two artists working while their band was on hiatus:

Blue Jays - Justin Hayward & John Lodge

Justin Hayward & John Lodge are members of The Moody Blues, but while the band was taking a break, they worked alone to produce Blue Jays. It echoes much of the romantic, dramatic rock sound they created with The Moody Blues, but there's something---a vulnerability, a majesty, I'm not sure---that sets it apart as a work in its own right. Part of me appreciates that not many people know about the album---an element of rarity and secrecy suits it---but I enjoy it so much that I wish more people could share the experience.
