Academia does suck. My dad is fond of saying that a university campus is the closest we get to a communist society in this country. They can do pretty much anything they want to us, but we either can't or won't leave. :) 'Tis settled now, though. ::breathes sigh of relief:: I have a roommate for the spring and can develop an escape plan at my leisure, rather than in a scrambling handful of days.
