a lady's imagination is very rapid
To take my mind off the lamentable fact that I'm currently being stamped as Queen Elizabeth I at [livejournal.com profile] princesse_stamp---because in what universe am I most like Queen Elizabeth I?!---I've been pondering who I would cast in a production of Pride and Prejudice. As an added challenge, I'm trying to find actors whose ages are as close to the characters' ages as possible.

So far, I'm liking Holliday Grainger for Elizabeth and Carey Mulligan for Jane, but I'm not sure who I'd cast for Darcy...or Lydia. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Vehement objections?

Tsk, tsk. We do not speak of the abominations. (Nor their pastry.)

Hee hee hee, undead buns.
Perhaps Maggie Smith could be Lady Catherine. I kind of wish she'd been turned into a zombie at the end. Alas.

She'd make an excellent Lady Catherine. But then, she's an excellent anything....
